'Jazz', as she is affectionately known, has only been to a few select shows, but has nonetheless left her mark. Owned and beautifully trained by Laureen Schmidt of Arinya Park since she was a weanling, Jazz is now a much loved member of the Arinya Park broodmare band. Her major wins include the following:
*Top 5 Yearling Filly, 2004 Goulburn Valley Champs under Liz Salmon, USA
*Reserve Champion Filly, 2004 Victorian Champions under Mark Gamblin of Wales - (her sister Esplendour's Aphrodite stood beside her as Champion, and eventually went on to take Supreme Female)
* AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION Amateur Filly or Mare, 2004
Jazz of course, is a daughter of the very influential Arinya Park Klass, but she also holds a special place because she was the first second-generation horse to be bred at our stud. Her dam, 'Janara' was also shown in a limited capacity, but as a foal took out Champion Female Exhibit at her first show against much older, seasoned mares. Janara is owned by Janice Parker.
