Jaketia was one of the first pure bred arabians we bred , being by our first stallion Talquah Jake, and our first mare, Tiaret.
She was shown briefly as a youngster with good result (including a Supreme All-Breed Exhibit) before being sold.
She went through a few homes, before ending up in the capable hands of the Barth family who introduced her to Endurance.
After a successful partnership, and the title of Endurance Arabian of the Year (Tasmania), she was exported to Malaysia where she has continued a successful career.
Jaketia was rated on the World Endurance Listings in 2004-5; she is pictured here (above right) competing in the gruelling 160 km Edaran Endurance Classic with her owner-rider Shu'aib Isaac ar-Raudbah, head of the Malaysian Endurance Team, and (above left) as a yearling.
